Harvest Markets

Harvest Markets

Good Food. Growing Communities.

Harvest Markets are a community-led alternative to farmer’s markets, connecting people to fresh, local produce and each other.

Local groups host Harvest Markets across Chatham-Kent each week, offering a variety of fresh, local produce. Harvest Markets also host community-building events and activities, such as cooking classes or local artists, and invite other groups and local shops to join in.

Local

Harvest Markets connects our community with high-quality, seasonal produce from local farmers and wholesalers. We work with over 15 local farmers and passionate wholesalers to curate a selection of five produce items each week.

Fresh

Harvest Markets are the perfect way to keep your fridge stocked with the freshest fruits and vegetables for an affordable price.

We like to keep things fresh with new produce items introduced each week. Plus, there’s always a few recipes as well as tips and tricks so you can get creative with your next meal!

Simple

Harvest Markets make it simple to do good while eating good.

  • Simple pick-up – everyone is welcome to stop by a local Harvest Market to pick up your produce.
  • Simple pricing – Produce is by donation – you choose how much to give. We suggest a $5 donation to help keep the markets sustainable.
  • Simple good – by picking up your produce at a Harvest Market, you are supporting local farmers and your community.
